This Is Oregon is a collaborative endeavor created by Shwood Eywear and Julian Bialowas to inspire others to get up, go out, and start exploring. Julian is a passionate photographer and designer, and this was the home of his 365 day project for 2011, where he posted one of his own photos every day, for an entire year. The result is amazing.

If you haven’t been at the opening at FH Salzburg yesterday, you have a change to go there the whole week! It’s not only that the single projects of the exhibition are established so thoughtful – the beautiful and sober design of the details is what makes ZEIT IST HELD so fetching.

Today an interactive exhibition openes in the foyer of the FH Salzburg called Zeit ist Held. The relationship between the pursuit of happiness and one’s own use of time constitute the core of the exhibition. The poster is even featured on fontblog.
Speaking about TIME – a nice idea is the Time Out Timer Stool for anoying kids.
I like the band around Franko van Lankeren Talking Pets from Munich and their feel-good music. They even sing a song about my second name, Carolina.

If your in Salzburg on first of may, you might get an overdose of traditional austrian clothing The whole city is dressed up – it’s pure eyecandy when they even ride bicycles in their dirndln and lederhosen. At Maibaumfest the main thing to do is usually drinking tons of beer, Almdudler and Radler.. We met some friends there – lovely day, lovely weather!

It’s bicycle day on my favorite radiostation and I’m listening to bike-songs all day long, so here’s a well-known musician on a bike. Elvis on a bicycle via ridesabike.
So, it seems that the four seasons don’t exist anymore and temperatures switch from -20 degrees to 30 degrees in only two months. It’s unbelievable hot these days – transitional clothing is overrated, so it’s about time for summery sandals already.

During my visit at studioastic today, they were very busy with forming little popsicles, tinkering with glue and tiny wooden clothespins. Seems like they have a big value in handcrafted, down to earth designs, which comes across quite sympathetically.

I used to drink Ginger Ale on Christmas Day when I was a little girl, because it was kind of something special. If you also don’t drink alcohol as a grown up, like I do these days – this is just the perfect drink when you go out or throw a party. I really like the cool retro bottle, but I think tiny bottles will be better to handle

Nice catchy summer tune by the band “Best Coast”. Fits perfectly to this beautiful, sunny afternoon. They say it will be 30 degrees this weekend – so it is about time to get a summer mixtape for the season.
Black coffee, meatballs, salmon, fruit juice, pancakes. Not quiet sure if a non-scandinavian would like this colourful combo in the morning I’d fancy a try even though.

preppy style, 50ies inspired for the girls…
stripes for the boys…
a cosy scarf to share…
and a lovely jumpsuit for summer days.
I’m currently obsessed with this beautiful scandinavian fashion label Mads Nørgaard from Copenhagen. The designer MADS NØRGAARD launched this brand in 1986, when he startet to design clothes, as an result of not finding what he likes in other fashion stores. Since 2001 the products hav been sold internationally.
I really like the classic designs, the stripes and the straight cuts of the collections. So timeless and chique without being overdressed.
